PeaceHealth is non-profit Catholic health system based in Vancouver, Washington. Their 16,000 caregivers, 900 providers and 10 medical centers care for the Washington, Oregon and Alaska communities.
PeaceHealth was using a homegrown system to grant physicians, nurses and staff access to systems and data, often taking up to 28 days to fulfill. After bringing in a legacy tool and not seeing the results they anticipated, it was time to bring in a solution to manage the entire identity lifecycle and compliance around access.
PeaceHealth partnered with SailPoint to take their identity program to the next level. By leveraging the user lifecycle management capabilities and the integration with Epic, PeaceHealth now grants access to users within one day – a process that has allowed them to let go of 25 contractors that previously managed this process. Gaining control of user access and gaining visibility around that has also helped them meet their governance requirements for audit.
