Choose Your Own Adventure with Navigate Virtual 2020
What is your cybersecurity character? Are you an identity management expert who keeps up with the latest trends, or are you new to the space and need some help navigating the vast ocean that is security (see what I did there…)? In the next couple of weeks, SailPoint welcomes all skill levels- pros to inquiring minds- to its first-ever virtual premier identity conference on August 27.
Navigate is celebrating its eighth birthday, but it looks a little different this year—it will be 100% virtual and at no cost to attendees. It’s also my first Navigate, and I am thrilled to be part of the team bringing the conference to attendees digitally. It’s a sign of the times—as Harry Styles sang so eloquently (blame my daughters for that reference).
This year’s event will be a buffet of keynotes with top industry leaders, breakout sessions featuring customers and evangelists, and online networking events where attendees can spend 1×1 time with identity experts. One of the coolest advantages of going virtual is being able to offer attendees the ability to choose their own adventure; conference-goers can decide how to spend their time but don’t need to fret about overlapping sessions. All Navigate Virtual content will be available on-demand via the event portal for 90 days following the conference; no picking and choosing here. You can have your cake and eat it too.
Navigate Virtual could not have come at a better time as identity management is needed now more than ever. Our customers’ identity programs are becoming increasingly more sophisticated in order to meet the complexities and challenges of working from home head-on. Navigate Virtual will offer strategic discussions, practical advice from industry experts, and hands-on training designed to help conference attendees evolve their identity programs into centers of identity excellence for their respective organization. The event will also include the SailPoint Customer Award winners’ announcement, a program designed to recognize the exceptional individuals achieving significant results with SailPoint’s leading solutions.
SailPoint is not sacrificing the conference as it turns digital. Navigators will join thousands of other IT professionals and walk away more informed than when they began, arming them with the tools they need to make identity a company-wide priority. Our goal is to bring attendees the most relevant, informative, and compelling sessions that will teach the public the importance of identity management. All characters welcome.
