Norwich University was having trouble keeping pace with the growth of their undergraduate and online graduate school, and providing new students access to their email and the applications needed for course curriculum.
The purpose of the project was to build a comprehensive, cloud-based identity governance program that would enable their business to run in a more secure and efficient way. Their immediate need was to alleviate the headaches caused by manual password management for students of the online graduate school.
Norwich University increased customer experience and satisfaction rates by automating account provisioning, while at the same time reducing manual IT administrative processes. Students now receive an automated welcome letter inviting them to change their password and instructions for setting up their account. With IdentityNow, the university can quickly onboard students by giving them access to email and all applications they need to be successful.
