Use Case 1: Accelerating innovation with the UI Development Kit at SailPoint

At SailPoint, we leveraged the UI Development Kit to build the Visual Transform Builder, a drag-and-drop interface that empowers users to create and manage JSON-based data transforms without writing code. By using the kit’s flexible and reusable components, our team rapidly developed a tailored experience featuring specialized editors for each transform type, in-app identity testing, and real-time validation. This visual approach not only streamlined transform workflows but also significantly reduced configuration errors—making a traditionally complex process far more accessible for both technical and non-technical users.

Use case 2: Building dynamic reports in ISC with the UI Development Kit

The Reports feature in ISC simplifies data visualization by leveraging D3.js to present insights through customizable charts, graphs, and visual elements. Using the built-in SDK, teams can easily fetch data from ISC and apply the pre-configured components in the UI Development Kit to build interactive, dynamic reports. This streamlined approach enables fast development of tailored reporting dashboards that make complex identity data easy to interpret and act on.
