SailPoint to Push SCIM Adoption at Cloud Identity Summit 2016

AUSTIN, June 1, 2016SailPoint, the leader in identity and access management (IAM), will organize a System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM) interoperability test at the Cloud Identity Summit, as well as participate in educational panels to help drive industry awareness and adoption. At the event, SailPoint will present IdentityIQTM interoperability testing, demonstrating a sample application built using a SCIM software development kit and highlighting various use cases. Additionally, Kelly Grizzle, who is one of SCIM’s co-authors and a SailPoint software architect, will provide an introduction to SCIM, focusing on the major advancements in version 2.0. He will also explain how SCIM can simplify integration between enterprise applications and identity governance systems; and speed delivery of compliance and provisioning for on-premises and cloud-based applications that support the standard.

Session Overview: Master IAM in the Cloud with SCIM v2.0
A growing number of organizations are realizing the benefits of SCIM over their own internal provisioning, particularly following the release of SCIM v2.0 in September 2015. Adoption has continued to grow steadily, with companies like Google, Facebook and Slack leading the charge. In this session, SailPoint’s Kelly Grizzle will highlight the differences between v.1.1 and 2.0 and offer tips on how organizations can best take advantage of SCIM.

Date: Monday, June 6, 2016
Time:
5:25 – 5:50pm in the Identity Standards 101 track
