SailPoint Continues Record Growth in 2010

Austin-based Company Ramps Up Hiring and Expands Office Space to Accommodate Growth; Launches Provisioning Product to Capture Emerging Market

AUSTIN, Texas, May 11, 2010 – SailPoint celebrated another record-breaking quarter in Q1 2010, experiencing a growth rate of approximately 272 percent compared to the same quarter last year and adding several well-known brand names, including two Fortune 100 companies and three Global 500 companies, to its customer roster. To support this continued growth, SailPoint has grown its employee count by 25 percent so far in 2010, adding professionals in engineering, professional services, support, sales and marketing. The company is also expanding its office space, nearly doubling the size of its Austin headquarters.

“SailPoint is competing and winning against some very large companies in the identity management market because of our innovative products, and our unmatched commitment to helping companies succeed with their compliance and security efforts,” said Mark McClain, CEO and cofounder of SailPoint. “We’re very focused on maintaining our high customer satisfaction levels, and have invested a significant amount of resources internally to make that possible. Based on market demand, we also expanded our solution to address the provisioning market this year, which will result in even more growth for SailPoint.”

SailPoint positioned itself for even more growth in 2010 by announcing a next-generation provisioning solution, SailPoint Lifecycle Manager, built on the company’s award-winning identity governance platform. SailPoint’s new governance-based approach to provisioning was designed to address the critical shortcomings of traditional provisioning technology. Lifecycle Manager also simplifies implementations, reduces costs and enables business managers to actively participate in identity management processes. Announced in March,Lifecycle Manager is already garnering significant interest from SailPoint customers, including Austin-based Tokyo Electron, U.S. Holdings (TEL U.S.).

“We manage access to numerous IT resources for a multitude of users, including employees, temporary workers, contractors and consultants,” said Jeff Boatman, Information Security Manager at TEL U.S. “With SailPoint IdentityIQ, we currently have ample visibility into our company’s identity data, which is critical for compliance and security initiatives. Providing our business users with an interface to request and validate access changes, and then automatically provision those changes, will increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the overall process. It’s a win-win situation for both business and information security personnel.”
