SailPoint Kicks Off Navigate Sydney ‘19

Today, we’re kicking off Navigate in Oz. For the next two days, we rub shoulders with some of the best minds in identity. Our goal is to look to the future to see how organizations can put identity at the center of their security strategies.

Here are some of the great things we will experience during Navigate Sydney this week. Hold onto your hats!

We will recognize our valued customers

At Navigate ’19, we will be holding our 3rd annual customer awards program to recognize members of our community. We’re fortunate to partner with companies across the globe who are pushing the boundaries of identity governance. We’re excited to share the two customers who will be honored this week in Sydney. The Navigate Sydney award winners are:

  • ING Bank Australia for the Impact Award: ING Bank Australia has set the standard for the company’s identity governance global strategy. With SailPoint since 2010, we are honored and thrilled to award this longtime customer.
  • National Broadband Network Company (NbN Co) for the Innovation Award: NbN is a gold standard SaaS customer fully embracing the ability to improve identity governance continually. We applaud this customer for their success and welcome their willingness to participate in our early access and beta opportunities.

We will hear some great keynotes

Thanks to the digital transformation, things change, which leaves a significant impact on identity programs. The results of this change can be promising, with new ideas and fresh thinking at Navigate each year. We are pleased to share our two guest keynote speakers at Navigate Sydney this year: Albert Frantz and Jonathon Thorpe.

Albert is a concert pianist, Fulbright scholar, Ironman triathlete and is among the most frequent contributors to the TEDx platform—you’ll leave his talk feeling inspired.

Turning to our other guest keynote, Jonathon has had extensive public-sector experience working across large service delivery agencies with over ten years in executive roles. As the current Assistant Secretary for Digital Identity, GovPass, and myGov for the Digital Transformation Agency (DTA), we are looking forward to his take on the ever-evolving role of identity in government.

We will learn about the future of identity
