The Power of Identity at Navigate Sydney ‘18

We’re kicking off Navigate Sydney this week ‘down under’ and this year, our event is bigger than ever before. In fact, our attendees enjoyed our conference in Sydney so much last year that they asked us for an extra day. So, we delivered! For the next two days, we’ll be gathering with some of the brightest minds in identity to discuss what organizations can be doing to put identity at the center of their security strategies. Here are some of the great things going on during Navigate Sydney this week.

We’re recognizing our most innovative customers

At our Navigate ’18 Austin event in May, we announced our second-annual customer awards to recognize members of our customer community. We’re fortunate to partner with companies all over the world who are pushing the boundaries of identity governance, and come to Navigate to openly share with their peers all that they’ve learned along their identity journey. Our awards program is designed to honor those who exemplify our core corporate values, and bringing them forward at Navigate gives attendees the opportunity to learn from and network with them. Two customers will be honored this week in Sydney: Air New Zealand and one of the top banks in the region.

Air New Zealand has shown exemplary performance in their program, which is why we’ve chosen them as the winner of the Impact Award. Their hybrid program has helped drive efficiency by gaining 22,600 productivity hours back, equating to equating to hundreds of thousands of dollars saved.

And the top bank we’re honoring has led the charge in innovation, making them a shoe-in for the Innovation Award. They have tackled the challenge of trading in their legacy identity platforms for a modern, agile identity governance program.

Congratulations to both organizations, and thank you for choosing SailPoint as your identity partner!

Speakers and Case Studies

In technology, things change continually which leaves a big impact on identity programs and results in new ideas and fresh thinking at Navigate each year. Hearing from our speakers is always enlightening, as we all look to evolve our security strategies to stay ahead of trends and threats. We’re looking forward to hearing from customers and partners during breakout sessions, including Medibank, Vanguard, Catholic Education and others. It’s these customers who make Navigate a golden opportunity to dive deep into the issues facing today’s enterprise. Those conversations shared among people who are experiencing the same pain points and working to solve the same issues are truly the reason we hold this conference.

As the role of identity evolves in the enterprise, Navigate is the place where we can all learn how to evolve our own programs. If you can’t join us in Sydney this week, we have just one more Navigate event scheduled this year in Barcelona on October 17-19. You can follow along with all Navigate events on Twitter and LinkedIn via the official hashtag, #SPNav18.
