The SailPoint product development team has been hard at work developing new single sign-on (SSO) profiles for leading cloud and on-premises applications that simplify and speed the deployment of SailPoint IdentityNow, SailPoint’s new identity and access management-as-a-Service (IDaaS) offering. And today, I’m excited to announce our newest certified integration with ServiceNow®.
The certified ServiceNow SSO profile provides SAML-based integration between ServiceNow and the IdentityNow SSO service. This allows users to login to ServiceNow from the IdentityNow Launchpad or by leveraging an existing on-premises identity store (such as Active Directory) – all without having to remember individual passwords. This greatly reduces the number of helpdesk calls to reset forgotten passwords – ultimately making users and the IT department more efficient and improving the application of enterprise security policies.
To complete the certification process with ServiceNow, the IdentityNow SSO service had to successfully complete integration tests focused on interoperability, security and performance. Our investment in certifications like this one underscores SailPoint’s commitment to standards-based integration between our IAM solutions and the broader IT ecosystems.
