SailPoint Corporate Philanthropy: Giving Back to Our Community

SailPoint’s company values reflect our commitment as a team to not only achieve leadership in our market, but to stand out as leaders within our community by volunteering and giving back to those in need.

Throughout 2013, the SailPoint team volunteered and donated time and money to several important causes around Austin. One of our favorite volunteer activities is working with the Entrepreneurs Foundation on their spring and fall Service Days. This year we pitched in at Brooke Elementary School for the spring Service Day, and worked hard to transform Jordan and Norman Elementary Schools for the fall Service Day.

Another event we enthusiastically participate in every spring is the Austin Cup Invitational Bowling Tournament, which benefits The Center for Child Protection. The SailPoint team holds try-outs to determine the two best bowling teams to represent the company and raise money for a great cause (and of course, team costumes are always included!).

Most recently, during the holiday season the SailPoint team contributed gifts for several families involved in a wonderful local organization, Any Baby Can, which supports kids and families in need. Many of our employees also took advantage of a matching program for charitable donations to the local chapter of Make-A-Wish. Make-A-Wish grants “one-of-a-kind” wishes to kids with life-threatening illnesses, and recently granted one of its most epic wishes ever. In central and south Texas alone, Make-A-Wish granted over 220 wishes in the past 12 months.

Philanthropy isn’t just about corporate gifts; it’s about pitching in to make an impact in the community and beyond. At SailPoint we look forward to continuing our efforts to better our community and give back where needed.
