Navigate ’16 is here! THE Identity Governance Conference
It’s finally upon us: Navigate ’16 kicks off today in Austin with a sold-out crowd of 600 customers, partners and prospects. This is a favorite event of the year for all of us that make up the SailPoint ‘crew.’ It’s a chance to catch up with our customers, hearing directly from them how they are continually evolving their approach to identity and access management. It’s also a chance to reconnect with our incredible network of partners, who share our vision for identity governance, working tirelessly to help our collective customers tackle new challenges, head-on. Some of these challenges include: how to manage unstructured data, weaving in data access governance as part of their overall identity governance program. Or: how to securely leverage technologies like cloud and BYOD, evolving their IAM requirements to address this hybrid IT infrastructure most enterprises now have. And: how to leverage user-specific identity context to make more informed, real-time decisions, evolving towards an identity-centric enterprise.
We have a killer agenda locked in this week – hearing from The Honorable Michael Chertoff and world renowned whitehat and author Kevin Mitnick, for starters. Plus, presentations from customers including speakers from Duke Energy, Harvard University, GM Financial and Weight Watchers, among others.
We also have really impressive audience this year. Just to give you a flavor for who makes up the Navigate ’16 attendees:
- CIOs who have implemented SailPoint at more than one company (i.e. repeat customers!);
- 100 organizations who have replaced outdated, legacy solutions with SailPoint’s IAM platform;
- Customers managing millions of identities and connecting to thousands of applications;
- Enterprises at all stages of cloud adoption, including dozens taking a “cloud-first” strategy with identity-as-as-service (IDaaS); and
- SailPoint experts from leading technology, reseller and global SI partner organizations.
And, finally – we are thrilled to host George Hulme, former long-time reporter for InformationWeek and our ‘Resident Blogger’ for the week. He’ll be capturing key points from our sessions this week, sharing updates on our blog and also on Twitter. Keep an eye on both for a peek into all the exciting things happening at Navigate this week. You can follow along in real-time on Twitter as well, using the #SPNav16 hashtag. And, if you’re lucky, you may even catch a glimpse or two of a few of us decked out in our best ‘80s garb at the Navig80s closing reception on Wednesday night!
