Four Years Strong: Gartner Names SailPoint a Leader in the Magic Quadrant for IGA

Delivering identity governance excellence is our mission as a company. It drives all of the hard work we do to infuse constant innovation into our products and to deliver unparalleled customer service to our customers. Being recognized by Gartner – for the fourth time running – as a Leader in the Magic Quadrant for Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) is industry validation that we do not take lightly as an organization.

It is important to point out that, unlike previous Magic Quadrant reports for IGA, the 2017 report is focused on the entire identity governance market – independent of delivery model. Previously, Gartner had included cloud-based identity governance with access management tools in a separate report. We believe the requirements of identity governance are fairly consistent, whether it’s delivered on-premises, as a hosted model or via the cloud, and this year’s report provides a true apples-to-apples comparison of all IGA options.

What does being a Leader in this years’ report mean to us at SailPoint? It not only validates our stance in the industry, it validates our unwavering commitment to delivering the best identity solutions in the market. From day one, the entire SailPoint Crew has focused on helping the world’s largest companies address compliance and security challenges successfully, and this report is a great indication that we’re delivering on that promise.

I couldn’t be more proud of our entire team at SailPoint for the tireless effort put into evolving both IdentityIQ, IdentityNow, and SecurityIQ into the industry-leading solutions for identity governance that they are today. All of us appreciate each customer who has shared their honest feedback to help improve our IGA solutions, as well as our partners who are critical in helping deliver those solutions to the market.
