Overview

The Provisioning Engine automates changes to target systems to speed delivery access requests, changes or remediations requested by the business. This eliminates the need for IT to use slow, error-prone manual processes for provisioning.

Because the Provisioning Engine is fully integrated with the other components of IdentityIQ, it automatically responds to requests initiated by the Provisioning Broker based on changes triggered in either IdentityIQ Lifecycle Manager or Compliance Manager.

IdentityIQ supports an open and flexible approach to the “last mile” of provisioning – the connector layer where changes are executed on IT resources. The Provisioning Engine is a perfect choice for organizations that don't have an existing provisioning solution or that want to supplement their existing provisioning infrastructure with a more flexible provisioning solution.
