Activity Monitoring
To safeguard the confidentiality and integrity of critical information, enterprises must monitor user activity. Compromised employee records, theft of intellectual property, and financial fraud are only a few consequences of an unmonitored environment. Making sense of activity data can be a challenge, as organizations struggle to manage the large volumes of data logged by enterprise systems and have difficulty interpreting the impact or relevance of complex log data.
IdentityIQ Compliance Manager enables businesses to gain control over the review of audit logs with a policy-based solution that automates the oversight of high-risk users, activities and resources, thereby ensuring compliance goals are met and security risks are minimized.
Overview
Monitor High-Risk Users and Improve Security
IdentityIQ Compliance Manager collects, filters and correlates activity data to individual identities to provide rich insights into what users do with the access they've been granted. To simplify the detection of inappropriate user activities, Compliance Manager enables organizations to define policies and proactively scan, detect and alert on user activity violations.
To improve identity governance, activity monitoring can be used as a compensating control for high-risk users. Compliance Manager makes it easy for managers to identify high-risk users by manager, department, or location. Once identified, managers can lower risk scores by activating activity monitoring for select users as a mitigating control.
