Dave Hildebrand leads all product engineering activities at SailPoint. The worldwide engineering team spans three continents and works together to develop and bring to market SailPoint's leading identity management solutions. The team's ability to rapidly innovate has enabled SailPoint to meet evolving customer challenges with a new approach that is revolutionizing the way customers and vendors think about identity management. And the team's depth of enterprise software experience has enabled SailPoint to develop scalable, reliable, standards-based enterprise software that meets the needs of the world's largest and most complex customer environments.
Dave's forward-thinking engineering approach provides SailPoint with another key differentiator: a development environment that sees identity challenges first and foremost from a business perspective. By keeping the focus on business users, Dave and his team have been able to transform tools that were once strictly the domain of IT into easy-to-use technologies that help businesses seamlessly meet a multitude of demands in compliance, operational efficiency and other critical areas.
Before joining SailPoint, Dave worked as a professional services engineer and development engineer at Waveset Technologies, where he drew on years of experience in delivering innovative identity software solutions to demanding enterprise markets. Following Sun's acquisition of Waveset, Dave served as director of engineering for the company's industry-leading identity management products. He has also held technical positions at UniSQL and WindDB.
