    BMC has selected SailPoint as the company‘s strategic technology provider for identity management software solutions. SailPoint's IdentityIQ™ the industry‘s leading identity governance solution, is available through BMC‘s worldwide sales force and distribution partners as the identity management component of BMC's business service management portfolio. Additionally, SailPoint provides the ongoing maintenance, support and roadmap for the BMC Identity Management Suite.

    The agreement, announced on January 27, 2011, is a great advancement for BMC‘s Identity Management customers because their existing identity management investment will continue to be maintained and supported. And now, they can better meet compliance demands and gain business-friendly access request capabilities from SailPoint IdentityIQ while leveraging their existing BMC identity management deployment.
